Why this band isn't selling out large arenas is baffling to me. Advantage moerons I guess. A wonderful show in a great venue (the memories of Jerry, Feat, etc were flowing). My wife's first show and she isn't into the jam scene too much but loved it anyway. Times Ed was fabulous and the rare Bearsong! I'm glad I was on top of the presale cause 6th row center made this truly special.

I took a good friend to see this show. What a night! We got to the Grosvenor Metro and 20 seconds later a train shows up. This is a good sign! We hopped off at Metro Center and cruised on into the show. Man, this place is just a block off the Metro, what a bonus. 10 minutes later, the band hits the stage. Talk about *excellent* timing!
Moe tore the place down. My buddy was dancing and rockin' all night long. He had never heard of moe. - imagine that! By the night's end, he was a confirmed moe.ron [smile].
I, too, danced my ass off. I'm afraid I may have spoiled one of the tapers' recordings, I was whooping and hollering at many points during the show. Once he admonished me (quite nicely) between sets, I put a (small) lid on it.
Great show, excellent venue, nice folks - crowd and Warner staff. I will definitely be back to the Warner and Ill be sure to catch moe. the next time they roll thru town...
The guitar solo during "Lost Along The Way" is sublime! What a tone!!

This place kicked ass. Intimate little, old classic style theater, amazing acoustics, right in the heart of D.C. I could hear Al on the acoustic perfectly and I could hear all the stage banter perfectly too, which I don't always find to be the case.
First set was somewhat short and standard, but good overall. Second set was smoking. Water was much better than I would have expected, Bearsong is always great. Kids>Time Ed>George was insane. Jim's soloing during the Time Ed jam floored me.
I seem to recall a couple girls getting up on the edge of the stage and dancing for a few seconds before securty got to them near the end. Either during George or the encore. I don't think I was imagining things.
Wonderful venue, great recording which I suppose is due to the great sound in the Warner itself. Thanks again to the tapers for helping me to have something to relive my memories of this killer show.

Great in person, almost as good for a listen! This show rocked and then band said after they make make the soundboard available because they felt the show was that good. Great recording, I was starting to think this night wouldn't get here. Thanks for the upload. The first set was great but it was just a warm-up. The second set becomes one long awesome jam. What this show and their new album prove is that Moe. is a band at the peak of it's powers!!
